Listening to Indigenous voices and shifting the value with guest Tandi Purych
This week on Unpacked we are chatting with Tandi Purych. Tandi, Indigenous Social Worker with Trellis Foundation. The Unpacked team chats with Tandi about her life and story growing up as an indigenous woman. She shares about her culture, the pain and trauma that was and continues to be inflicted. She talks with us about the ways she cares for herself when she experiences racism and gives her thoughts on practical ways to be an ally and a part of the healing work toward reconciliation and inclusion in our neighbourhood, city and world.
Unpacked is a podcast exploring life as messy people. It’s conversations with counsellors, leaders, storytellers discussing the experiences of being human. We talk about the strength that comes from big messy failures and vulnerable moments so we can learn to live more authentically. Subscribe and leave us a review!
